PAINT SYSTEMS
We apply a complete range of paint systems capable of offering over 20 years of corrosion protection in extreme environments.
Paint systems provide long-life protection to vessels, pumps, valves, pipework, heat exchangers, structural steel fabrications, machinery components, armoured personnel carriers, gun components and much more.
Wet paint systems are employed for both anti-corrosion protection and for cosmetic finish purposes from single-coat primer applications to multi-coat two-pack systems. Polyurethane and epoxy systems can provide protection in temperatures from -30ºC up to 400ºC from splash zone and immersed or sub-sea conditions to desert and aggressive industrial environments.
Paint systems are applied and inspected by qualified operatives (ICATS, ICORR, NACE and TTP) using conventional, air-assisted and airless spray equipment.
EPOXY COATINGS
Tough, hard-wearing finishes with good all-around resistance to abrasion, alkalis, salts, solvents and mild acids.
ZINC SILICATES
Provides outstanding corrosion and abrasion resistance and is suitable for over-coating using a wide range of heavy-duty top coats.
WATER BASED PAINTS
An environmentally friendly option to traditional paints but usage depends on the tolerances required.
ZINC RICH PAINTS
Contain a minimum of 90% zinc dust in a dry film coating and will afford cathodic protection, even when the steel becomes damaged or exposed the zinc being sacrificial will prevent the rust spreading.
TWO PACK POLYURETHANES
High-performance finishes give an excellent decorative appearance. Outstanding resistance to weathering and severe industrial environments with no long-term overcoating restrictions.
FIRE RETARDANT PAINTS
Provide different levels of resistance to a fire where items may be exposed to extreme heat or flames.
MICACEOUS IRON OXIDES
Provides excellent barrier protection for exposed steelwork.
